M.L. & Miguel- Next Letter

Dear Miguel,

How greatly my heart lends itself to your emotions! I know the extent of your affections, for your words present them so clear to me; I am in such terrible fear that Adaire will prove only a bitter memory upon her leave, which will take place before receiving this letter, I believe, if my calculations are correct. Pray she will live up to none of my impressions for your gentle and beautiful heart’s sake. Yet, I hear such excitement in your dates that I cannot help my mind but to feel a bit jealous of those wonderful interactions between the attracted opposite sex. Oh, should I extend my efforts once again to find another man upon which to enjoy those feelings? Goodness me, I am aware of the trouble it causes so much as to prevent me from making such an attachment upon my own. These things cannot be created. However many times you have told me that! Gosh, I suppose Zachary too cannot be created into a relationship with my gorgeous cousin. Oh, do tell me anyway, my dear Miguel, what would happen next in the budding romance they share between us? For, I will have only that to entertain since my cousin will be leaving us in a couple of weeks. How shall I miss those beautiful musical displays that she entertained us with so often! She is truly gifted. Ah, well, my dear Miguel, do not think I am run away from the feelings you are struggling with at the present; for, I am forever careful of your dear feelings. You are much too wonderful to me; how I shall forever love you. Write me again soon, my friend, with whatever thoughts and emotions you are in need of disposing upon a listening heart.

Your Friend,

M.L.
